The APsmart Transmitter-PLC Outdoor Kit is a SunSpec-compliant solution for PV system rapid shutdown. Designed to pair with APsmart RSD-S-PLC units, it maintains safe PV operation by sending a power-line communication (PLC) signal that enables or disables module-level energy flow according to NEC 2017 (690.12).
Available in single-core or dual-core options, and with 85–264VAC (residential) or 180–550VAC (commercial)power supply input ranges, the kit offers flexibility for rooftops of all sizes. When powered off, it instantly initiates rapid shutdown of PV modules — ensuring compliance and safety in all conditions.
